The hotel Villa Marron, is situated in an exclusive environment on an estate of 3.000 m2 alongside the best beaches of the area and Picos de Europa Mountains and National Park.
The building, cataloged as casa de Indianos ("House of Indianos"), is a job of the architect Joaquín Ortiz García (1899 - 1983). It was built for Mr. Benigno Cueto Collado (1863-1937) born in Naves but Cuban emigrant. The house highlights the impressive lateral galleries, very typical in this type of architecture. The indiano's, emigrants, that triumphed in america to final of s. xix, returned to spain with large sums of money and in many occasions the invested in its native land on schools, hospitals and mansions. The main building, besides Naves town, boasts a porch in the entrance with terrace in the uppers; actually serves as terrace - mirador for its rooms where you can see from the imposing mountains that surrounding the town of Naves, and the valley of Saint George.
The dwelling of almost a century of history has been restored recently (2011-2012), so the main building and the auxiliary one, the total complex, were completely restored, including the majestic galleries and the imposing central stairs, maintaining the composer's laws of that time.
About the gardens, the design studio in charge of the landscape rehabilitation and green areas, made a reinterpretation of indiano's lenguaje doing use of the more modern lines of actual design.
The hotel houses, counts with 13 double rooms and 3 Junior Suites (rooms with a salon). Also the complex is gifted with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, coffee shop with chill-out terrace and extensive landscaped areas. All the complex is also gifted with the highest levels of quality and comfort without loosing its original style. The rooms have a full equipped bathroom with hair dryer, tv, wifi and safety box.
